Andrew Harrison

Andrew Harrison

Andrew Harrison is an experienced consultant, having worked for over thirty years in developing the capacity of organisations to change. He is a graduate of Oxford University, fellow of the RSA, and publisher on innovation, leadership and the aesthetics of organising. In the past twenty-five years he has worked all over the UK, and in Europe, Australia, Brazil and Tunisia.

He has extensive experience of working within and across organizational boundaries with public and private sector organisations – ranging from General Motors South American innovation system, to the Board of a media company. Cross cultural leadership systems, revaluation and innovation are particular interests of his.

He holds senior practitioner status in mentoring and coaching (EMCC) and is a member of the International Association of Facilitators. He is an experienced facilitator – especially of large group systems. He and Sarah Sutton founded the learning studio in 2004, through which partners have the chance for studio learning – with the overtones of messy, provisional, testing practice – such as one would enjoy in an art or music studio. In this work he makes extensive use of psychodynamic and systems’ theories. He has been a non executive director of many arts and housing organisations – recently he directed Screen West Midlands, the regional office of the UK Film Council.
